About the role and team
We have an opportunity for an Associate to join our thriving Statutory Insurance – Workers' Compensation practice working with a highly regarded team based in our Sydney office.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of three years' post‐admission experience in personal injury claims, specifically Workers' Compensation for employers/insurers. This is a genuine growth role for the right candidate, offering the opportunity for clear career progression within a supportive and nurturing environment.
The Statutory Insurance NSW – Workers' Compensation section is a defendant insurance legal team which has approximately 70 people across the Sydney and Newcastle office.
About you
* Minimum three years' post‐admission experience
* Experience working in the personal injury space, specifically Workers' Compensation for employers/insurers
* Experience on the defendant side is ideal
* Clear, concise legal writing skills
* Strong attention to detail and a strong commitment to client service
* Ability to mentor and supervise junior members of the team
* Initiative and ability to organise and prioritise effectively
