We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Murray Vale Shalem.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Cook to provide high-quality food service within our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and cooking fresh meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and cook nutritious meals in accordance with established menus and recipes
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the kitchen area
* Maintain accurate records of food preparation and inventory management
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in aged care or a related industry
* Knowledge and experience in working to compliance with Food Safety Standards
* A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Availability to work various shifts across different days
