Position Overview:
You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure safety and optimal performance. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on all types of vehicles.
* Identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately using diagnostic equipment and tools.
* Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and fluid checks.
* Repair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and suspension systems.
* Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure issues are resolved.
* Communicate clearly with manager and coworkers regarding required repairs, and timelines.
* Maintain detailed records of all services and repairs performed.
* Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
* Stay current with evolving automotive technology and industry best practices through ongoing training.
Qualifications:
* Certificate III
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
