Corporate Receptionist
Location: Sydney Head Office, Barangaroo. The role is onsite 5 days a week.
As the company's first point of contact, you will provide administrative support across the organisation, ensuring timely and professional service. Tasks are performed with a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage reception calls and ensure the phone line is covered during business hours.
* Greet visitors, facilitate their arrival, and offer refreshments.
* Monitor daily meetings to ensure reception is attended when clients arrive.
* Keep the reception area tidy, organised, and professional at all times.
* Maintain kitchen areas: pack/unpack dishwashers, restock snacks and drinks, clean appliances, and manage weekly supplies.
* Prepare and clean meeting rooms before and after use.
* Assist with catering setup for meetings and events.
* Coordinate office social and charity events, including larger functions such as the Christmas Party.
* Distribute and scan incoming mail.
* Manage courier bookings and handle packages to/from the mailroom.
* Provide ad‐hoc support to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
* Set up workstations for new starters with laptops, access passes, and welcome items.
* Pick up lunch for the Managing Director as required.
* Present professionally and maintain excellent communication skills to represent the company.
Key Competencies and Qualifications
* Proven working experience in similar Receptionist, Office Manager & Admin roles.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Highly skilled in greeting visitors and directing and announcing them appropriately.
* Resourceful and proactive in resolving and identifying issues that may arise.
* Organised, multitask, prioritise and able to work under pressure.
