Contracts & Delivery Manager
Location: Based in South Australia Head Office – Primarily on-site at Port Pirie & Roxby Downs
Basetec Services is a specialist contractor delivering composite and industrial fabrication, FRP lining, installation, and maintenance solutions across the resources, water, and infrastructure sectors. With long-term relationships with key clients such as Nyrstar and BHP, we pride ourselves on technical capability, safe work practices, and dependable delivery performance.
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Contracts & Delivery Manager to lead Basetec's ongoing operations and client engagement with Nyrstar (Port Pirie) and BHP (Olympic Dam).
This senior role combines on-site leadership, client relationship management, contract administration, estimating oversight, and operational delivery across multiple work fronts.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate all Basetec activities across the Nyrstar and BHP portfolios, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely delivery.
* Act as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships at both operational and commercial levels.
* Manage contracts, variations, cost tracking, invoicing, and progress reporting in line with Basetec and client requirements.
* Oversee and contribute to estimating, pricing, and budget development for ongoing and upcoming scopes of work.
* Support tender preparation, review of contract terms, and negotiation of commercial conditions.
* Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to meet project demands across multiple concurrent sites.
* Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in site execution.
* Provide technical and strategic input to strengthen Basetec's performance and long-term client partnerships.
About You
* Proven experience in project, contract, or operations management within industrial, mining, or infrastructure environments.
* Strong commercial and contract management skills, including experience managing service agreements and major client portfolios.
* Working knowledge of estimating, cost control, and project financial management.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities with the confidence to maintain a consistent on-site presence.
* Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and familiar with reporting, rostering, and scheduling systems.
* Background in composite fabrication, FRP, mechanical installation, or industrial construction will be highly regarded.
* Willingness to travel regularly between Port Pirie, Roxby Downs and Adelaide.
