The Shire of Murray is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of lifeguard on a casual basis. Working at the Murray Aquatic and Leisure Centre, the successful applicant will ensure customers using the aquatic facilities are supervised at all times, and that water safety is continuously upheld.
As the Murray Aquatic and Leisure Centre is open seven days a week, hours of work may be rostered from Monday to Sunday inclusive (including early morning and evening work).
Responsibilities
* Supervise customers and ensure water safety at all times.
* Daily opening and closing procedures and equipment checks are carried out.
* Assist in maintaining the facility and grounds in a clean and safe condition.
* Assist with training of other staff at the same level or at a lower level.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* Resuscitation and/or Provide CPR Certificate
* Provide First Aid Certificate
* Experience working in an aquatic leisure environment is desirable
* Learning and development programs
* Health and Wellbeing initiatives
