Fire Technician - Dry Fire - FIFO Role - WA Based.

What You'll Do:
Test and Maintain: Ensuring site equipment and systems are tested and maintained as per AS1851.2012 and AS1670 standard requirements. Focusing on annual, 5 & 10 year services.
Upgrade and installs: Working on both new build projects and upgrading of existing systems.
Provide detailed reports: Working with our skilled office team to ensure comprehensive and professional reports are provided to our customers, sites and DFES. Detailing clear calls to action for any defects and faults. Maintaining and updating baseline data.
Troubleshoot and rectify: Perform fault finding, reporting, and rectifications.
Travel: Work autonomously and as part of a team across various sites in the Kimberley region.
Safety First: Adhere to all WHS requirements for each client site.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Minimum 2 years in the field.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of both AS1670 and AS1851-2012 with a proven background in fire services inspection and testing, and/or installation.
Skills on the job: Installation and configuration experience with Ampac, Notifier, Simplex and VESDA systems.
Tech-Savvy: Able to operate a web-based service management app on your personal mobile phone/tablet.
Professionalism: Excellent customer service skills, strong work ethic, and well-presented.
Compliance: Ability to meet site and customer requirements, including medicals, police clearances, DAS, etc.
License & Credentials:
Current manual driver's license (with a proven ability to drive for long distances and on unsealed roads)
Open Cablers License, Working at Heights & EWP
Certificate II or III in Fire protection is highly regarded
Electrical License – Highly regarded but not essential
West Coast Based: Flights available from Perth or Darwin.
