About The Role And Where You Will Be Working
Permanent part‐time position available. This position is based at Victoria Park House in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents. As part of our supportive team, you will contribute to the smooth daily operation of the facility by assisting across a range of hospitality tasks, with a strong focus on laundry services.
Your Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To
* Collecting, sorting, washing, drying and folding laundry in accordance with facility standards
* Ensuring all linen and personal clothing items are handled with care and returned promptly
* Operating and maintaining laundry equipment safely and efficiently
* Monitoring stock levels of linen, detergents and cleaning supplies, and reporting shortages
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area at all times
* Adhering to infection control procedures and workplace health and safety guidelines
* Assisting with general cleaning duties when required
* Providing occasional support to the kitchen or other hospitality areas as directed

To Be Considered For This Role You'll Need
* Previous experience in laundry, cleaning or hospitality (aged care experience highly regarded)
* An understanding of infection control and safe work practices
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a positive, can‐do attitude
* Reliability, punctuality and strong attention to detail
