**Job Description:**# **Job Summary**The Casual Transcription Editor is responsible for editing and proofreading transcriptions of court proceedings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
This role involves managing confidential documents, providing litigation support, and collaborating with legal professionals.
**Essential Job Responsibilities*** **Edit** and proofread transcriptions of court proceedings to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
* **Manage** confidential documents related to court cases and proceedings.
* **Provide** litigation support by organizing and managing case files, evidence, and other legal materials.
* **Collaborate** with legal professionals to ensure accurate and complete reporting of court proceedings.
* **Ensure** compliance with legal standards and procedures in transcription editing.
* **Conduct** legal reporting to support court cases and provide relevant information to legal professionals.
* **Implement** quality control measures to maintain the integrity of transcriptions.
* **Support** office administration tasks related to transcription editing and proofreading.
**Qualifications & Requirements****Education:*** Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
* Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
**Experience:*** Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in transcription editing or a related field.
* Preferred: Experience in a similar role within the legal industry.
