We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator / Storeperson to join our team in Mackay QLD on a permanent full-time basis.
What you will be doing:
* Assist in the day-to-day operations including receiving, picking, packing, tinting paint, and dispatching goods.
* Conduct stock control activities such as cycle counts and stocktakes.
* Maintain equipment and ensure safe, efficient handling of goods.
* Maintain a high standard of customer service through effective communication, accuracy, and handling of stock within the centre.
* Process documentation such as Dangerous Goods paperwork, delivery dockets, and consignment notes.
* Support the Trade Centre Manager with data entry, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You:
* Previous experience in a warehouse role.
* Forklift License and experience operating a counterbalance Forklift.
* Current manual driver's license.
* Experience with using SAP (desirable).
* A strong focus on health and safety.
* Good physical fitness and health.
* A driven, self-motivated personality.
* Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
