Junior Design Coordinator (Client Side) Brisbane Based Opportunity Long-Term Career Development An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Design Coordinator to join a growing project delivery team and play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial fitout projects across Southeast Queensland. Working alongside experienced project and design professionals, you will assist in coordinating the design process from concept through to construction, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and aligned with client expectations. Key Responsibilities Assist in coordinating the design development process from concept design through to construction documentation. Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to ensure design deliverables are completed on time. Support the management of design programmes, documentation registers and consultant deliverables. Participate in design workshops, coordination meetings and stakeholder reviews. Review drawings and documentation for completeness, coordination and constructability. Assist in identifying and resolving design issues before construction commences. Ensure documentation complies with project briefs, statutory requirements and client expectations. Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to support successful project outcomes. What We're Looking For Degree qualified in Architecture, Construction Management, Design, Property Development or a related discipline. 2–3 years' post-graduate experience within commercial construction, fitout, architecture or property development. Strong organisational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with consultants and project stakeholders. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within a growing business. Understanding of the design and construction process within commercial projects will be highly regarded.
