As a Business Services Manager, you will lead a dedicated team and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from high-net-worth individuals and family offices to large private enterprises. This role is designed for a technical expert who enjoys the advisory side of the desk and is willing to move beyond compliance to become a true business partner.
Key Responsibilities
* Portfolio Management: Oversee a significant portfolio of private clients, ensuring high-quality delivery of accounting, tax compliance, and strategic advisory services.
* Advisory Excellence: Lead engagements involving complex tax structuring, succession planning, cash flow forecasting, and outsourced CFO services.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of Seniors and Intermediates, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
* Strategic Growth: Support Partners in business development initiatives and identify opportunities to provide additional value to existing clients.
* Client Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive insights into their financial health and growth strategies.

About You
* Qualified: CA or CPA qualified.
* Experienced: 6+ years of experience within a reputable Australian accounting firm (Big 4, Mid-Tier, or specialist Boutique).
* Technical Depth: Strong understanding of Division 7A, Trust structures, CGT concessions, and FBT.
* Leadership: Proven experience in managing staff and reviewing complex files.
* Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable advice for non-financial stakeholders.
