Senior Engineer – Drainage & Flooding Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast)
This role is ideal for an experienced drainage specialist with strong technical capability in 12D and a proven background delivering drainage and flooding design for major road and/or rail infrastructure projects. You will provide specialist technical input, lead design packages, and support multidisciplinary project teams across significant transport programs in Queensland and nationally. What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent discipline). 7–15 years’ experience in drainage and flooding design, ideally within a consultancy environment. Advanced capability with 12D, including hydrology, hydraulic modelling, and drainage design workflows. Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards, Austroads guidelines, and TMR requirements. Demonstrated experience delivering projects to client scope, budget, and timeframes. Ability to prepare high‑quality technical reports with minimal review. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams across major transport projects. Willingness to undertake occasional travel as project needs arise.
