Eligibility to apply
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed‐term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
Other conditions
WA Health requires applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Depending on the role, applicants may also be required to undertake a working with children check and a pre‐employment health assessment. References may be requested to comment on integrity and ethical behavior. Adverse information does not necessarily disqualify but will be considered.
Pre‐Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) is required. Any offer is conditional on satisfactory PEHA. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in withdrawal of the offer. Further details are available in the WACHS PEHA policy.
Position profile
Provides professional, customer‐focused reception and clerical support to the Kimberley Mental Health and Drug Service (KMHDS) Derby/Fitzroy Crossing Clinic, including operation of the switchboard, support for clinical systems, and delivery of a wide range of administrative tasks to assist the multidisciplinary team.
