**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the Education Programs Manager, the Traffic Safety Educator position exists to deliver RACV's education programs and to promote the effective teaching of safety education in Victorian schools.
**This could be just the right role for you**
The Traffic Safety Educator is responsible for delivering education programs, including confirming school bookings, liaison with primary schools, preparation of lessons, attendance at meetings and annual workshop, management of equipment and resources for schools, and promotion of program through direct and indirect channels.
**What you'll need to be successful**
- Essential: Appropriate tertiary qualification in education, preferably primary school.
- Experience in teaching in Victorian schools and knowledge of Victorian education system and Victorian Curriculum standards.
- Excellent time management skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively on multiple programs and manage competing demands.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to support peers, management, internal and external stakeholder
- A current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration and a police check is required.
- A current Victorian Driver's License is required.
- Travel is to and from school bookings, and use of a vehicle, is required.
