K-Drill Pty Ltd is a Western Australian drilling services company providing professional drilling solutions to the mining, exploration, environmental and resources sectors. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and take ownership of the company's finance function as we continue to grow.
About the role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing K-Drill's financial operations, reporting, compliance and commercial analysis. You will work closely with management to provide accurate financial information, improve systems and processes, and support sound business decision‐making across the company.
Key responsibilities
* Managing day‐to‐day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight and reconciliations
* Preparing monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting
* Monitoring project, equipment and operational costs
* Supporting pricing, tender analysis and commercial decision‐making
* Managing BAS, tax compliance, superannuation and statutory reporting obligations
* Liaising with external accountants, auditors, banks, insurers and other advisers
* Improving financial systems, controls and reporting processes
* Supporting management with strategic planning, growth initiatives and business performance analysis
* Ensuring compliance with relevant financial, payroll and corporate obligations
About you
* Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Senior Accountant or similar role
* Strong accounting, reporting and cash flow management skills
* Experience with payroll, BAS, budgeting and management reporting
* A practical, hands‐on approach and solid attention to detail
* The ability to work closely with operational teams and management
* Strong communication skills and commercial judgement
* Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* CPA, CA or equivalent qualifications will be highly regarded
* Experience in drilling, mining services, construction, civil works, transport, plant hire or another project‐based industry would be advantageous
