Join a high‐performing maintenance team at Curragh Mine and work on critical mining equipment in a permanent role. This is a hands‐on role for a qualified Electrical Tradesperson joining our Field Maintenance team in Blackwater, Queensland. The role follows a lifestyle roster.
What you'll do
* Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical issues across mobile and fixed plant equipment
* Respond to breakdowns and restore equipment safely and efficiently
* Carry out preventative maintenance and planned shutdown activities
* Work safely in line with site procedures, standards and isolation practices
* Identify recurring faults and contribute to improved equipment reliability
What you'll bring
* Experience in field maintenance within mining, heavy industry or similar environments
* Electrical trade qualification
* Current Queensland Electrical Licence
* Experience with HV switching and fault finding (desirable)
* Exposure to mobile plant and fixed plant electrical systems
* Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills under pressure
* A strong safety focus and team‐oriented mindset
