About The Role
The Senior Manager – Channel Marketing is a parental‑leave cover responsible for executing Canon’s B2B channel marketing strategy. The role develops, executes and oversees product launches, offer campaigns, demand‑generation programmes, sales tools and marketing content in alignment with the Channel Marketing team and business stakeholders. It reviews market and programme analysis of targeted verticals, segments, customers and channel partners, and presents the in‑depth value proposition for each key channel.
Scope of Role
- Execute marketing strategies that drive business growth, enhance sales and customer engagement, and impact market share, customer acquisition and channel revenue.
- Lead value‑proposition development, messaging and positioning for campaigns and content in line with Canon brand purpose and customer audience attributes.
- Collaborate with ATL/BTL agencies to develop effective campaigns, content and channel plans and deliver cross‑agency deliverables for key marketing campaigns.
- Drive business planning for brand, comms, offers, campaign activities and events and integrate into the B2B planning process.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholder teams to shape strategic thinking and deliver business results.
- Oversee project management and delivery of channel requirements, including vertical, product positioning, always‑on campaigns and content.
- Lead initiatives reporting to determine activity ROI, optimization opportunities, alignment to channel goals and impact on channel growth.
About You
We are looking for a marketing leader with proven experience in brand/channel strategy and communications across channels. The successful candidate will identify commercial opportunities, drive and align teams with group objectives, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- 10+ years of in‑house marketing or agency experience.
- Experience managing budgets of $1.5M+.
- In‑depth knowledge of digital marketing channels – paid, owned, and earned.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop persuasive communications based on customer insights.
- Ability to develop strategic briefs for external agencies and critically review concept work.
- Strong analytics acumen and deep knowledge of one or more marketing technology platforms.
