Site Supervisor – Civil | Hope Downs 1 Sustaining | 2:1 roster
Scope of Work
We are seeking a Site Supervisor with a strong background in bulk earthworks and sealed roads to support sustaining capital works at Hope Downs 1. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site-based civil works, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project delivery requirements within an EPCM-style environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervision of bulk earthworks and sealed road construction activities
* Strong contractor management across multiple work fronts
* Interface with engineering, project, and HSE teams in an EPCM delivery environment
* Ensure compliance with site safety standards, permits, and procedures
* Daily coordination of work planning, execution, and reporting
Mandatory Requirements
* Proven experience in sealed roads
* Strong background in bulk earthworks
* Demonstrated contractor management experience
* Ideally experienced working in an EPCM environment
S26 (Section 26) Certification
Must already hold S26, have a confirmed exam booking (proof required), or be willing to sit and pass the S26 exam within 3 months of mobilisation.
Nice to Have
* Previous Rio Tinto or Tier-1 mining project experience
* Pilbara FIFO experience
* Strong safety leadership and communication skills
