We are currently recruiting experienced Agricultural Mobile Plant Operators who are highly motivated, enthusiastic and capable of operating cultivation machinery for a large‐scale vegetable cropping operation.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assisting with all facets of ground preparation and inter‐row cultivation of high‐quality potatoes and onions. The role involves basic mechanical work, forklift driving, irrigation, harvesting and spraying, ensuring a variety of daily tasks.
Qualifications
* Experience in operating modern farm machinery including large‐scale tractors, harvesters and spray equipment.
* Previous experience in these fields will be highly regarded.
* Good communication skills to liaise with farm managers and harvest crews.
* Adherence to company OH&S protocols and procedures.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
* Current driver's licence.
* Forklift licence.
* Flexibility with working hours over 7 days and nights.
* Hard‐working and highly reliable.
Salary
This is a full‐time position with a salary range of $70,000–$80,000 plus super, determined by experience.
