POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Quality Officer to support the Quality Assurance team in monitoring production activities on the factory floor, ensuring products are built according to standards and contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform routine quality inspections and checks throughout bathroom pod production.
* Accurately capture and maintain inspection records using tablets and internal QA systems.
* Assist with QA documentation, reporting, and daily quality tracking activities.
* Liaise effectively with the QA Team, production operators and leaders regarding quality issues or incomplete process steps.
* Monitor corrective actions and confirm completion of required rework.
* Build positive working relationships across QA and production teams, promoting a quality-focused culture.
* Stay up to date with changes to production processes, drawings, specifications and materials.
* Escalate any identified safety or quality concerns promptly.
ABOUT YOU
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Basic computer literacy, including experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, and tablet-based systems.
* Ability to read measurements and interpret basic drawings.
* Experience using tools and layout equipment such as self-levelling lasers, builder's squares, measuring tapes, and similar equipment.
* Strong attention to detail, with a sense of urgency and accountability for quality outcomes.
* Completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
* Previous experience in manufacturing, construction or quality inspection is advantageous but not essential.
* Hold a valid White Card (preferred).
