Housekeeping Team Leader | RACV Inverloch Resort I Part Time

We are looking for an experienced Room Attendant or House person with supervisory skills to lead our housekeeping team. This includes adherence to all processes, safety requirements, productivity targets, cleanliness standards and the motivational health of the team. Previous experience and knowledge of a Room Attendant position at a 4 or 5 star hotel or resort will be highly regarded.
**Main responsibilities will include**:
- Improve and develop service standards and regularly coach, train and mentor staff to ensure service standards are consistently delivered;
- Assist with staff performance appraisals and development plans;
- Monitor the cleanliness and productivity of housekeeping staff daily and ensure all rooms are ready on time;
- Respond to daily issues and changing demands;
- Ensure all staff and guests are safe by creating a safety mindset in the Housekeeping team by completing all safety tasks in line with procedures including incident reporting, risk and hazard identification/mitigation and quarterly risk assessments and inspections;
- Ensure all housekeeping staff adhere to departmental SWPs, policies and procedures;
- Oversee the day to day operation of the housekeeping team;
- Respond to all requests including VIP's, connecting rooms or any unique guest needs;
- Participate in all meetings and raise issues and ideas objectively and constructively and
- Work closely with the Maintenance team and report and resolve all outstanding maintenance issues.
**To be successful in this role you will**:
- Have excellent communications skills;
- Hold a current drivers' licence;
- Be flexible across 7 days a week; and
- Inspire, engage and motivate a team.
