Customer Service Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers.
* This role involves providing first point of contact for retail sales and enquiries;
* Receiving and storing incoming goods;
* Order processing including point of sale and invoicing;
* Picking and packing outgoing goods to customers and store transfers;
* Assisting with stock control, including inventory monitoring and stocktakes;
* Building excellent customer relationships;
* Championing safety and compliance requirements;
* Performing general duties supporting the branch in day-to-day operations.
Requirements
* A minimum Cert III in Retail or 2 years retail or warehouse experience;
* Computer literacy: Basic level Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Point of Sale Transactions, financial software);
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with a diverse range of people;
* Ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team;
* Problem-solving skills appropriate to role and responsibility level;
* Excellent customer service skills – building successful relationships and exceeding customer expectations;
* Current valid driving licence;
* A self-starter with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team when required.
