AutoPro Newman is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Sales Coordinator to join our team. This hands‐on role supports retail, trade, mining, construction, transport and fleet customers with automotive and industrial parts solutions.
Location: Newman, WA. This role is available on either a residential basis in Newman or FIFO from Perth, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic regional environment servicing key mining, construction, transport and trade customers.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Service
* Provide outstanding service to retail, trade and commercial customers.
* Identify customer needs and recommend suitable automotive, industrial and equipment parts solutions.
* Process sales transactions, customer orders, quotations and invoices.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade, mining, construction and fleet customers.
* Promote products, services and special offers to maximise sales opportunities.
* Follow up customer enquiries and quotations to support sales growth.
Parts Interpretation & Coordination
* Accurately interpret customer requirements using catalogues, electronic parts systems and supplier resources.
* Source products from suppliers and coordinate procurement when stock is unavailable.
* Manage customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.
* Monitor backorders and communicate order status updates to customers.
* Work closely with suppliers to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Commercial Account Support
* Support key trade and commercial customers with their ongoing parts requirements.
* Prepare quotations and assist customers with technical product enquiries.
* Coordinate urgent and scheduled parts supply requirements.
* Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and commercial customers.
* Identify opportunities to improve customer service and grow account sales.
Inventory & Store Operations
* Receive, check and process incoming stock.
* Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.
* Assist with stock takes and inventory control activities.Ensure products are merchandised and displayed effectively.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
Skills & Experience Essential
* Strong customer service and sales skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship‐building abilities.
* Experience in retail sales, trade sales, customer service or parts sales.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‐paced environment.
* Competent computer skills and experience using point‐of‐sale or inventory management systems.
Desirable
* Experience in automotive parts sales or parts interpreting.
* Knowledge of automotive, mining, construction, industrial or heavy equipment parts.
* Experience working with trade or commercial customers.
* Forklift licence.
* Current driver's licence.
