Opportunity for experienced Program Managers to lead a team of committed professionals to deliver the NZIIP funding programs
2 X Permanent full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity
Based in Parramatta, hybrid working supported
Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $142,529 to $156,425 + super
Roles
Two Program Manager roles are available across two major NZIIP initiatives which are outlined below :
Low Carbon and Renewable Manufacturing – 1 x manager role available
The NSW Government has committed $480 million to boost domestic net zero manufacturing of low-carbon products and components for renewable energy. This initiative invests alongside industry to increase manufacturing capacity for commercially ready technologies such as new facilities, production lines and equipment. This will allow NSW to take advantage of the transition to a low-carbon and renewable energy future by securing new jobs and the economic opportunities for producing local goods and services.
High Emitting Industries – 1 x manager role available
Key Role Dimensions
We are seeking experienced Program Managers to lead a team of committed professionals to deliver the NZIIP funding programs. The manager role / s will each lead a team of approximately eight staff to design, assess, award and manage grant projects and processes on behalf of the specific funding initiatives. The manager will help the team maintain the highest level of due diligence for industry projects which will require close engagement with probity, legal counsel, and technology subject matter experts.

lead program design and development aligned to government policies and priorities, including preparing business cases and project plans, establishing appropriate governance, resourcing and reporting
build and manage the grant portfolio ensuring key program stakeholders engage, participate and submit funding applications
lead all aspects of ongoing program delivery including lifecycle grants management and effective contract management
develop and manage ongoing complex relationships with key industry stakeholders and organisations, ensuring the program engages with industry / business in a fair, transparent and equitable way
set the strategic direction and work plans for the program teams, enabling them to design and deliver projects aligned to program outcomes
manage interdependencies and risks, reporting, budgets and continuous improvement activities to ensure outcomes are achieved on time on budget, and to quality standards, delivering on program outcomes over time
support positive collaboration and partnerships with other programs, departments and agencies, establishing broader strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating industrial decarisation
About You
You will have the following experience :
strong experience in and understanding of the NSW industrial sector – clean technologies, manufacturing and mining decarbonisation pathways and associated supply chains
experience managing commercial feasibility assessments, engineering design, probity, procurement and contract negotiations related to major capital investments.
grants management experience across the whole lifecycle of design, assessment, award, negotiation and contract management
business development experience and the ability to engage and influence industry stakeholders to achieve program outcomes.
strong experience leading a multi-disciplinary team through a range of complex initiatives to achieve program deliverables.
