Job Overview
This role involves assisting the finance manager with daily financial operations and month-end processes in a dynamic environment.
* Process supplier invoices and employee expenses using an enterprise resource planning system (ERP).
* Prepare and send customer invoices, applying payment receipts.
* Perform monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on debtor accounts.
* Develop departmental profit and loss statements and assist with budgeting.
* Support tax return preparation and year-end audit services.
* Generate monthly sales reports and provide assistance with regional reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. A bachelor's degree in accounting is required, along with at least two years of experience in an assistant accountant role.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant role
* Strong understanding of General Ledger and reconciliations
* Proficient in MS Excel; ERP experience essential
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
