At The Tailor, we design bespoke, luxury travel experiences across Australia and our Product Team plays a vital role in bringing these journeys to life. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Assistant to join our team and provide essential support across product content, supplier documentation, and day-to-day operations.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Product, the Product Assistant supports the broader Product Team to keep our content accurate, our systems up to date, and our department running efficiently.

From helping load sample itineraries, maintaining compliance documents, and supporting supplier communications, to assisting with famil trip logistics and database updates — this role is varied, essential, and perfect for someone who loves being highly organised and contributing to a high-performing team.

You'll work closely with the Head of Product, Product Rates Coordinator, Travel Design team and Marketing team, gaining exposure to a wide range of product-related activities that underpin the exceptional travel experiences we deliver.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

* Assist with loading and maintaining sample itineraries in our internal system
* Keep supplier public liability documents and compliance records up to date and correctly filed
* Support rate loading and administrative tasks for the Product Rates Coordinator
* Assist with supplier follow-ups, data updates, and product content management
* Provide administrative and logistics support for agent, staff, and media famil trips
* Maintain documentation, schedules, and supplier updates for internal teams
* Support suppliers in coordinating webinars and product training for staff
* Assist with internal system updates, basic troubleshooting, and testing
* Prepare and update user guides or training materials for system usability
* Provide general administrative support to the Product Department, including meeting preparation, maintaining records, and responding to internal or agent queries
* Contribute to special projects and department initiatives as required

* A willingness to learn and grow in a supportive team
* Experience in travel, tourism, administration, product coordination, or similar roles is beneficial but not essential
* This role is ideal for someone early in their career, or someone looking to step into the travel industry from an administrative background.
