South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking applications for our Graduate Midwifery Program.
Have you recently completed your postgraduate studies in Midwifery?
If so, we encourage you to apply for our specialised graduate program designed to support newly registered midwives as they consolidate their knowledge within a structured and supportive framework.
We understand that graduate midwives have unique needs and goals, and our program is designed to help you confidently build and strengthen your midwifery practice.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position (64 hours per fortnight) with a 12-month Graduate Midwifery Program. Graduates will rotate across the full continuum of pregnancy care, including birthing and postnatal areas.

- Salary Range: $81,733.60 - $103,152.40 pro rata per annum, plus super
What you bring
- The successful applicants will have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
- You will have a demonstrated competency in clinical practice and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, while providing high quality nursing care.
- You will have evidence of the commitment to ongoing education and professional development will be highly regarded.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028 with the classification Registered Nurse Grade 2 with salary range $81,733.60 - $103,152.40
