We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic team at Fattoush Bayside; an innovative Charcoal House located in Redcliffe.

Fattoush Bayside is a new and exciting restaurant launched in the heart of the Redcliffe Peninsula, right on the waterfront.
Our inspiration comes from traveling the world and experiencing flavorful, exciting charcoal dishes that have stood the test of time globally. From Asia to the Middle East to Europe, charcoal is a main cooking staple prized for its flavor and versatility. We aim to deliver global charcoal favorites to the Redcliffe community. We will also offer a variety of, charcoal chicken and skewers large platter style with healthy salads and dips from around the world in a relaxed and vibrant sports bar setting.

Role and Responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager
Our Restaurant Manager will be accountable to the business's Directors. You will lead all aspects of our operations. You will deliver our vibrant, exciting, high-quality menu. You will also motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.
The Successful Restaurant Manager maintains restaurant revenue, profitability, and quality goals. You ensure efficient operations and uphold high standards for production, productivity, quality, and customer service.
To succeed in this role, you'll need management skills and front- and back-of-house experience. You should know how to oversee the dining room, check in with customers, and balance seating capacity.
Back-of-the-house management experience is also essential, as you'll work with our current staff, hire qualified Cooks and Wait Staff, set work schedules, oversee food prep, sign off on ordering procedures, and ensure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.
Lead by example and uplift staff during busy moments. Ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. Make sure customers have pleasant dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
Organize and supervise shifts.
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products.
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Maintain the restaurant's positive image and suggest ways to enhance it.
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
Promote the brand in the local community through word of mouth and restaurant events.
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g., discounts and social media ads)
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience in a managerial role such as Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, or Hospitality Manager, overseeing daily operations, staff management, and customer service.
Proven customer service experience as a manager
Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge; able to accurately remember and recall ingredients and dishes to advise both customers and wait staff.
Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable
Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
Acute financial management skills
BSc degree in Business Administration, hospitality management, or culinary schooling preferred.
