Sessions are designed to be inclusive, low‐impact and adaptable, with a strong focus on safety, regulation and emotional wellbeing rather than fitness or performance. You will help create a welcoming space where participants feel supported, respected and empowered to move at their own pace.
This role is ideal for someone who values trauma‐aware practice, understands energy limitations, and enjoys facilitating calm, grounding experiences.
Key Duties
* Facilitate gentle movement sessions such as chair yoga, Tai Chi, stretching and breathwork
* Adapt activities to suit varying mobility, pain and energy levels
* Create a safe, inclusive and non‐judgemental environment
* Encourage body awareness, relaxation and regulation
* Follow organisational safety, inclusion and wellbeing guidelines
* Communicate any concerns to the supervising coordinator
Skills & Experience
* Experience in chair yoga, Tai Chi, gentle movement, breathwork or similar practice
* Ability to modify activities for diverse physical and neurological needs
* Calm, compassionate and inclusive facilitation style
* Reliable, respectful and supportive approach
* Lived experience or understanding of invisible illness or disability is highly valued
* Formal qualifications are welcome but not essential
