About the Role
As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Occupational Hygiene/Health and Safety you will contribute to innovative teaching and research while working collaboratively with academic, industry and community partners to deliver impactful projects and contemporary, accredited programs. You will also play a key role in building sector partnerships and fostering collaboration across the University. The role includes teaching and coordinating undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, using a student‐centred, evidence‐based approach that incorporates flexible delivery, e‐learning, and inclusive practices.
What You'll Bring
You are suitably qualified, motivated and collaborative with a strong foundation in occupational health and safety. You bring experience delivering high‐quality, innovative teaching in tertiary or professional settings, supported by a solid understanding of OHS, including occupational hygiene. A strong commitment to integrating research, teaching and work‐integrated learning underpins your approach to education. With excellent interpersonal skills, you build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and a broad range of stakeholders, including industry, government and community partners. Professional certification (e.g. COH or CSP) and established industry networks will be highly regarded, along with your ability to develop new collaborations and contribute to the ongoing growth of the discipline.
