About the role
Reporting to the Associate Director: Research Infrastructure, you will manage the training and compliance requirements of Adelaide Universities Core Animal Facility. You will design and deliver inductions and technical training, maintain accurate competency records, and ensure all activity aligns with legislation, ethics and accreditation standards. You will also coordinate animal imports/exports, support facility management systems and build strong relationships across partner institutions to drive continuous improvement.

To be successful you will need
* Diploma-level qualifications in a relevant discipline plus significant experience in laboratory animal care, ideally with Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian code, ethics approval processes, OGTR and Department of Agriculture requirements
* Experience delivering training, inductions and WHS-aligned procedures to diverse user groups
* Experience developing, maintaining and improving quality, compliance or safety systems
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
