O'Brien Group is excited to offer the opportunity for you to join our Kitchen Team at Adelaide Showground for year-round events, as well as the iconic Royal Adelaide Show (Saturday, 5 th – Sunday, 13 th September). We are looking for adaptable, reliable, highly motivated, and passionate Casual Chefs and Kitchenhands who can contribute to and enhance our operation at Adelaide Showground.
About the Role
As a member of the O'Brien Group Team, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of events and functions of differing size, style and offering; all within the much-loved Adelaide Showground venue.

About You
To be successful in this casual position, you will have:
* 1 year or more experience working in commercial venues/event catering
* Trade Qualifications (Chef only)
* A hands-on approach to the daily operations of working in a busy kitchen environment
* The ability to take direction and work in a team
* HACCP food safety knowledge
* The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
* Ability to work with limited supervision
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to work varying shifts during the Royal Adelaide Show (05/09/2026 – 13/09/2026)
