General Practitioner Opportunity
At Latrobe Community Health Service, we aim to prevent health problems through information and awareness, and intervene sooner by delivering truly integrated healthcare. Our origins are in Gippsland regional Victoria, but we have expanded rapidly in recent years. Our services encompass general practice (GP), nursing, allied health, dental, counselling and psychology, gambling support, alcohol and drug treatment, migrant and refugee settlement services, social connection, carer support services, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme in partnership with the NDIA.
We can offer a rewarding General Practitioner position, backed by Nursing & Allied Health on site, allowing for quality healthcare delivery to the community.
About Our Clinics:
Our Gippsland clinic is supported by our onsite Medical Director, GP Practice Manager, alongside dedicated Nurses and Senior Admin staff at all sites. We provide a full range of GP services including chronic disease management, health assessments, immunisations, wound dressings, women's health, general and allied health. There is an opportunity to develop your own area of special interest if desired.
We also have a Sexual Health clinic on site, run by our experienced Sexual Health nurse in conjunction with the GPs on site.
There are three Fellow GPs at the Clinic providing mentoring and support. Additionally, we are involved in teaching 4th year Medical Students from Monash University School of Rural Health and are an accredited Practice for the Fellowship Support Programme of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
