**About the role**
Working within our Information Systems and Services team, you will provide the benchmark in helpdesk service excellence. You will be responsible for providing front line ICT support for users by providing technical support and troubleshooting for all aspects of computer hardware, network and software.
You will also have opportunity to work within server, cloud and virtualisation systems. This is a broad support role and a unique opportunity to expand your skill set.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Answer and respond to support calls over the phone and via the job logging system in a timely, professional and friendly manner;
- Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware and software faults;
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers and networks;
- Assist in maintaining an up to date register of all IT equipment across the organisation and replace parts and consumables where required;
- Provide technical installation services for new and existing worksites and relocations;
- Support the Group Chief Technology Officer to ensure compliance with organisations software licensing arrangements;
- Work with the Group Chief Technology Officer to promote computer literacy and confidence levels across all user groups;
- Generate new user accounts;
- Contribute to the improvement of IT services, processes and operations.
- Support, Setup and installation of Standard Operating Environments for users.
- Setup, Migration and Maintenance of servers
- Administration of Microsoft Active Directory
**About You**
You will be a proactive, organised, self-starter, who is able to work autonomously and enjoys being part of a supportive team. Preferring to work in a fast-paced environment, you will be confident in your ability to assess priorities and negotiate deadlines across a constantly changing workload.
