Mercy Community is seeking a solid clinical leader to join the team in Townsville. This is a key leadership role supporting the Facility Manager and providing clinical oversight, team guidance and accountability for resident care outcomes. If you are an experienced Registered Nurse who understands aged care reform, AN-ACC, compliance and real clinical leadership.
About the Role
* Provide hands‐on clinical leadership and oversight
* Ensure care plans, assessments and documentation are compliant and meaningful
* Oversee risk areas including wounds, falls, medication, nutrition, hydration and continence
* Support SIRS management and incident response
* Prepare the home for audits and accreditation activity
* Coach, guide and hold nursing and care staff accountable
* Support a strong, positive and safe clinical culture
About You
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Strong experience in residential aged care
* Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC, accreditation and aged care reform
* Experience leading and developing clinical teams
* Confidence in managing audits, documentation and regulatory compliance
* Strong communication skills with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams
* A proactive approach to risk management and quality improvement
