This pivotal role plays a key part in shaping and executing SHE strategy across LDC operations, partnering closely with Operational Managers and SHE colleagues.
You will develop, implement, and champion programs that foster a strong safety culture and deliver effective SHE leadership, providing subject matter expertise across safety, health, environmental management, and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement the SHE strategy and continuous improvement plan, verifying actions are completed at site level.
* Provide high-level project support to the SHE Manager, delivering objectives of the SHE strategy.
* Lead training module design and coordination, ensuring seamless delivery throughout LDC operations.
* Assist in designing, implementing, and reviewing SHE management system documentation.
* Coordinate and manage training delivery, providing feedback on external training where required.
* Mentor sites around risk assessments.
* Participate in incident investigations with root cause analysis.
* Counsel site and regional managers on SHE matters.
