Casual Marine Tank Cleaner (Commercial & Defence Vessels)
Pure Environmental seeking motivated and safety-focused Marine Tank Cleaners to support project-based industrial service activities on commercial and defence vessels. This is a hands‐on role involving the cleaning of tanks and other confined spaces in marine vessel environments.
You will work as part of a specialised team delivering high‐quality services in line with strict safety, environmental and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct cleaning of fuel, ballast, and wastewater tanks
* Perform confined space entry in accordance with procedures and permits
* Operate specialised cleaning equipment (e.g. high‐pressure water, vacuum systems)
* Assist with waste handling, transfer and disposal
* Follow all marine, defence and site‐specific protocols
* Complete pre‐starts, hazard identification and safety documentation
* Maintain equipment and ensure work areas are clean and compliant
About You
* Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards
* Physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces and marine environments
* Able to work flexible hours, including shutdowns and short‐notice mobilisation
* Reliable, team‐oriented and able to follow detailed instructions
* Confined Space Entry (current)
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening
* Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government National Security Clearance (mandatory for defence work)
Highly Regarded
* Experience in marine tank cleaning or industrial services
* MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
* Working at Heights
* Defence clearance (current or previously held)
* HR/HC licence
