Construction Project Director Role Overview
The primary responsibility of the Construction Project Director is to oversee the entire lifecycle of large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Lead pre-tender site meetings, prepare and finalize project proposals, and negotiate contracts with stakeholders.
* Direct and manage project development from inception to completion.
* Supervise and mentor site foremen, leading hands, plumbers, and apprentices within the construction team.
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and external stakeholders.
Successful candidates will have previous experience in a similar role, a Certificate III in Plumbing, and provide technical expertise to key stakeholders.
About You
* Hold a Certificate III in Plumbing or relevant trade qualification.
* Have at least 10 years of experience in a construction management role.
* Possess strong knowledge of sanitary plumbing, wastewater disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, as well as relevant building codes and legislation.
* Demonstrate problem-solving, decisive decision-making skills, and effective communication abilities.
