You will collaborate with researchers from diverse disciplines, contributing to the Community Data Lab Enhanced Analytics project. Your role will involve creating robust, user-friendly software solutions that support cutting-edge research across Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences and Indigenous studies. Your responsibilities will include: Software Development: Design and develop well-structured, documented, and distributable Python packages. Front-end Development: Develop accessible, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks. Data Workflows & Machine Learning: Implement pipelines for OCR, computer vision, and LLM-based text extraction from digitised collections. Documentation, Training & Engagement: Produce clear documentation, tutorials, and developer guides. You may be a great fit if: You are a skilled software engineer with strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript, experienced in developing innovative tools, and eager to collaborate with diverse teams to enhance digital research capabilities.
