Our client :
Our client is a company dedicated to providing onsite IT support to public schools for the past 15 years.
About the role:
They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join their team as a Desktop/Network Support - Field Services Technician.
In this role, you'll be providing both onsite and offsite support to schools, working with a variety of clients, including Principal, teachers and administration staff. You'll be experiencing different schools, different people, and different challenges, week to week.
You will be offered on-the-job training and IT certification in conjunction with your full‐time role and pay. We are looking for candidates who are punctual, detail‐oriented and passionate about technology. Role and Responsibilities
* Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
* Checking computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality.
* Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
* Performing basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for department users and/or the university community.
* Providing individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies. May train student employees.
* Performing routine technical assistance and maintenance duties.
* Maintaining and updating record‐keeping system; may document projects and maintain user instructions.
* Assisting with tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials; performing data entry and maintenance of records such as project documents, user instructions, general reports and/or systems errors.
* May input billing information into a record‐keeping system.
