What's the role?
We're seeking experienced Cleaners to join our team at Curtis Island on a Casual basis. As a Cleaner, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well‐organised environment for the team and residents. Your responsibilities may include:
* Cleaning offices, first aid room, ablution/shower blocks, and lunch/crib rooms
* Rubbish removal and restocking lunchrooms & kitchenettes
* Chemical handling and adhering to safety procedures
* General cleaning and maintenance of communal areas
What do you need?
* Previous cleaning experience ideally in an Industrial environment (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to work 10 – 12 hours per day
* Physically fit to pass a pre‐employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
* Self‐motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
* Current driver's license and reliable transport (Early hours ferry commute required)
* Previous experience Bus Driving, highly desirable (and associated qualifications)
* Gladstone local (preferred), no FIFO
