What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the development and provision of VAN integration in line with NSW Health Integrated Prevention And Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (IPARVAN). Focus on the collaboration with Priority Populations Program (PPP) services and also broader health services such as mental health to ensure the implementation of the 24/7 VAN on call service to include Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence and Child Physical Abuse and Neglect.
You will lead the local development and provision of VAN on call services, including localised policy and procedures, in line with NSW Health Responding to Sexual Assault (Adult and Child) Policies and Procedures.
Work collaboratively with the PPP Manager, Sexual Assault Clinical Lead, Forensic Medical Lead, Child and Adolescent Safety Pediatrician, MLHD Counselling Clinical Lead, JCPRP Coordinator, Child Protection Counselling Service Clinical Lead and Priority Populations Program in the implementation and development of policy and strategic direction and in responding to the needs for the PPP services within the District.
