What This Role Is Really About Parkerville has done the hard work – growth, expansion, and a diverse portfolio of sites that support children, young people and families across WA. Now we need someone to take ownership of how our physical environments and assets support that work every day. This is not just a facilities role. It’s a role for someone who understands that safe, compliant, well-managed environments are critical to delivering trauma-informed care – and that how we maintain our spaces directly impacts the experiences of the people who walk through them. This is a full-time role, based in Burswood, with work across all Parkerville locations. The Work You’ll lead the strategic and operational management of Parkerville’s property and fleet portfolio, ensuring our assets are safe, compliant, sustainable and fit for purpose. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll provide trusted advice on asset management, risk, compliance and financial performance, while leading a small team to deliver maintenance, leasing and asset planning across multiple sites. This is a role with real autonomy – balancing long-term planning with day-to-day operational demands. What You’ll Bring You understand that behind every building, vehicle, and contract is the need to support safe, consistent care for children and families. Significant experience in property, facilities or asset management at a senior level Strong financial capability, including budget development, management and accountability Proven ability to operate independently and make sound decisions on complex matters Experience leading and developing teams Strong understanding of compliance requirements, including WHS and building standards in WA Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills Ability to provide clear, accurate advice and reporting to senior leaders You’ll Thrive Here If You’re confident working autonomously but know when to bring others with you. You can build strong, productive relationships across a complex organisation, and you’re comfortable balancing competing priorities without losing sight of what matters most. You bring a pragmatic mindset, a steady approach, and a commitment to doing things properly.
