Position Overview
As the Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of a philanthropy and partnerships strategy that directly supports life-changing healthcare, world-class research, and community wellbeing. This hands-on leadership role reports to the General Manager and works closely with the Executive, Public Affairs and Communications Manager, and Calvary's national philanthropy team to drive fundraising growth, strengthen brand visibility, and cultivate enduring relationships with donors, corporate partners, and community organisations.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement partnership and philanthropy strategy aligned with the hospital's strategic priorities.
• Drive fundraising growth and strengthen corporate and community relationships.
• Cultivate donor and partner relationships across corporate, community, and government sectors.
• Work with research and clinical teams to identify impact opportunities and communicate value.
Selection Criteria
Proven track record of delivering income growth and measurable impact as a senior fundraising or partnerships leader
Degree qualified in relevant field and/or extensive experience in philanthropy, partnerships or marketing
CFRE accreditation or FIA membership highly regarded
Applied understanding of the Charitable Fundraising Act **** and philanthropic governance requirements
Exceptional communicator with strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills across corporate, community and government sectors
Strategic, collaborative and purpose-driven, with a genuine passion for connecting generosity with improved patient care and community outcomes
