About the Job
As an Experience Designer, you will support colleagues and clients in making complex digital ideas clearer and more usable. You will contribute to research, design and delivery activities while developing your consulting skills, design judgement and understanding of technology‐enabled transformation.
Responsibilities
* Support discovery activities including desk research, interview preparation, note‐taking, synthesis and insight documentation.
* Create first‐pass journey maps, task flows, wireframes, UI screens, prototypes and design documentation under guidance.
* Help maintain Figma or similar design/prototyping files, design‐system components, variables, annotations and hand‐off hygiene.
* Support usability testing, accessibility checks, design QA and delivery hand‐off preparation.
* Work with Product Designers, Product Design Leads, Design Engineers and client teams to understand design problems and delivery constraints.
* Use AI‐assisted tools responsibly to support synthesis, exploration, documentation, microcopy, prototype variation and QA under senior guidance.
* Develop confidence in client conversations, workshop support, storytelling and presentation of design rationale.
Qualifications
* Foundational UX, UI, interaction design, visual design and human‐centred design skills.
* Developing proficiency in design and prototyping platforms such as Figma, Sketch or similar, including prototyping, design documentation and hand‐off hygiene.
* Developing proficiency in experience canvas tools such as FigJam, Miro or Mural for journey mapping, workshop capture, synthesis, flow mapping and collaborative design work.
* Developing proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or similar creative tools to create, adapt and prepare assets, diagrams and visual material that support research, prototypes and client deliverables.
* Ability to analyse research inputs, identify patterns and contribute to clear design artefacts.
* Strong attention to detail, communication, collaboration and willingness to learn.
* Awareness of accessibility, responsive design, design systems and digital delivery practices.
* Developing familiarity with AI‐assisted design and prototyping tools such as Figma Make, UX Pilot, Lovable, Replit, Cursor, Google Stitch or similar; Figma Dev Mode / Code Connect‐style hand‐off; and design‐to‐code workflows, with an interest in building small working examples under guidance.
* Likely hold an undergraduate degree in design, human‐computer interaction, business consulting, computer science or a related field, and have a demonstrated curiosity for new knowledge with relevant certifications, professional learning or equivalent industry experience.
