RoadTek Downs South West Operations are seeking a high performing, innovative and dynamic individual to join the team for up to 3 years. In the role of Principal Project Manager, you will program manage the delivery of multiple road infrastructure projects (Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DFRA) and Betterment) in remote and isolated parts of Southwest Queensland, through the provision of technical expertise, administration of contracts and support to the design, construction and rehabilitation processes.
Accountabilities
- Project director to provide effective leadership to project teams.
- Perform the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide analytical support and business improvement.
- Provide specialist input on construction methods, production rates, unit rates and local information.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on contractual issues and contract performance, with a view to obtaining continuous improvements.
- Ensure the program and projects are adequately resourced.
Mandatory Qualifications And Conditions
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
- Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's license or equivalent.
- A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the operational unit and/or the State. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
Desirable Qualifications
- Engineering qualifications including RPEQ.
- A Diploma in Project Management.
- Accredited Frontline Management.
