Exciting newly created Finance Business Partner role with a global entertainment provider!
**The Company**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated CA/CPA qualified Finance Business Partner to join an exciting global organisation in the entertainment industry. Reporting into the Divisional CFO for Asia Pacific, this role will provide ongoing business partnering with to senior leadership team and sponsorship executives. You will have ownership of day-to-day financial process and oversight, delivery of all internal and external reporting requirements.
**The Role**
Reporting directly into the Divisional CFO, the main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner position will include:
- Provide day to day commercial financial support and analysis to Sponsorship Execs and divisional CFO.
- Assist in the annual Strategic Planning process and prepare all annual budget deliverables.
- Prepare reporting for monthly Exec meetings.
- Attend weekly sales meetings, updating financial reporting based on outcomes
- Attend commercial marketing team meetings to update forecasts and financial projections.
- Maintain live consolidated sponsorship tracker file for the, reflecting YTD actuals and RoY forecast at individual sponsor level.
- Attend monthly forecast meetings and load forecast updates.
- Prepare monthly Head Office forecast pack including variance analysis and risks & opportunities.
- Own the Month End close process, booking required accruals, reviewing p&l; and balance sheet accuracy, preparing actuals vs forecast variance analysis, ensuring all internal deadlines met.
- Work with Financial Reporting team to deliver monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaise with tax team to ensure timely delivery of BAS, GST.
- Ensure IFRS Revenue Recognition principles followed in all actual and forecast reporting, drafting policies for new agreements for sign-off.
- Ensure all ad-hoc Head Office / Corporate Reporting requirements are met.
- Prepare and track contractual bonus/commission calculations for Sponsorship team.
- Develop effective and productive business performance assessment and reporting tools to support operational decision making.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
**Your Profile**
To be successful in this role you will be CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years' experience in a commercially focussed role. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the drive and ambition to succeed in a fast-paced environment and confident liaising with senior execs on a daily basis. You will have advanced Excel skills and experience with a data visualisation tool such as Power BI would be desirable. Interviews for this role taking place ASAP, we look forward to hearing for you!
