As an ICT Purchasing Officer at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you'll play a key role in supporting Serco's digital and operational excellence by managing the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process efficiently and accurately. You'll coordinate purchasing transactions, manage invoices, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all ICT procurement activities meet compliance, value-for-money, and service standards.
Your work will directly contribute to the smooth running of ICT operations, ensuring essential technology and services continue to support one of Australia's most advanced healthcare facilities.
Your Responsibilities
Creating accurate Purchase Orders (POs) with correct coding and documentation
Supporting services in sourcing quotes and negotiating best value outcomes with suppliers
Managing goods receipting, invoice workflows, and supplier queries
Resolving blocked or parked invoices and GR/IR issues efficiently
Coordinating with the Procurement team and Shared Services Centre to ensure timely payments
Supporting the annual subcontractor rate indexation process
Assisting with emergency vendor onboarding requests and ad-hoc purchasing tasks
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in purchasing and P2P processes

To Be Successful In This Role You'll Have
Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in purchasing or procurement functions (P2P systems experience desirable)
Exposure to finance or accounts payable processes (SAP experience highly regarded)
A proactive attitude with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork
