What will your typical day look like?
As a Technical Lead /Solution Architect in the Optimal Reality team, you will design and support effective delivery capability across Deloitte to implement Optimal Reality to solve challenging client problems.
- Define technical solutions of end-to-end intelligent systems that combine real-time data, simulation, GenAI, and agentic AI capabilities
- Provide technical architecture support and guidance for Optimal Reality delivery teams
- Curate and guide core product development activities for scaled client implementation
- Lead and support business development opportunities, including preparing client proposals and scoping up client engagement
- Present and explain the Optimal Reality solution in business development presentations
- Work with Forward Deployed Engineers to implement clients solutions that are aligned to and part of improve an overarching product vision

We help organisations in asset intensive industries to use data and digital technologies to visualise, understand, control and optimise their network-based operations in real time.

We ingest multiple data sources, processing millions of messages an hour and present this in real time to operators to improve their decision making and ultimately make our cities smarter and lives easier.
We use computer vision and other AI/ML to improve our understanding of what's happening and we use simulation and prediction techniques to optimise for the best possible outcome.
Our back end languages include Golang, Julia and Python.
We use GraphQL in the BFF layer and our front end applications are built with React and Javascript and uses DeckGL.
We're a full stack team with skills across front end, back end, data and devops.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are a highly motivated individual with:
- Extensive experience in a client facing/technical advisory role, either in-house or in a Consulting environment
- Experience in leading complex technology transformation projects, including managing senior relationships with public and private sector organisations
- Demonstrated experience shaping technical solutions and cloud integration architecture, particularly AWS based architecture
- Demonstrated experience in scaled cloud deployment across multiple clients including devops, security and infrastructure experience
- Experience for simulation / digital twin implementation
- Demonstrated technical development experience, preferably in microservices systems
- Familiar with languages and tools including Python, Julia, SQL, Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform
- Experience with GenAI/LLM Engineering and Agentic AI systems
- Have or be eligible for AGSVA baseline clearance
